Shaina Traub, alongside director Leigh Silverman, musical supervisor Andrea Grody, and choreographer Mayte Natalio, has created a musical wonder - and the proof is in the accolades|If you had any doubt about whether SUFFS would be worth your buck, let the accolades be the proof. Beautifully ironic, Shaina Taub became the first woman ever to independently win Tony Awards, and is the second woman in Broadway history behind the lyrics, book, and music, while also performing in the musical. The best news of the year, however, is that SUFFS will be gracing the stages of Connecticut this winter!
SUFFS taps into the fantastic historical story of the American suffragettes that fought tirelessly for the right of women to vote.
